Fund management and control involving JAIC investment teams to maximize investment performance
The JAIC Group’s investments in privately held business ventures are made with investment funds (LPs, etc.) composed of funds raised through institutional investors and JAIC Group funds (the JAIC Group invests a certain percentage in the funds it manages) and own-account funds.
The funds managed by the JAIC Group typically have terms (contract periods) of 10 years (some funds expire earlier, and at times terms may be extended for two years or so). During the term of the fund, the JAIC Group makes investments and carries out other fund management tasks based on the fund agreement.
Fund managers responsible for the management and control of funds (each fund within the JAIC Group is assigned an officer and employee responsible for management and control) provide fund management reports and other useful information to investors in the fund and work together with investment teams to monitor the progress of investment recovery with the view of maximizing investment performance.
